Classification
How the fund is described in the open dataset: asset class, region, sector and strategy. Our own category (Covered Call) drives the screeners; these labels add detail.
Returns with and without distributions
Price return shows the change in the fund's price alone. Total return also counts every distribution, reinvested on its ex-date: the gap between the two is what the fund paid out. In EUR, up to 8 Oct 2026; periods longer than a year also show the yearly rate. For a euro investor these figures include the effect of the euro–dollar exchange rate.
| 1M | 3M | 6M | YTD | 1Y | 3Y | 5Y | Since launch | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price without distributions | -5.3% | -14.1% | -37.5% | -56.3% | -65.1% | — | — | -55.0%-47.1% p.a. |

Lost money Over twelve months, in the trading currency, the price fell 66.6% and the distributions did not cover it (-31.0% total return). See every Covered Call on the Erosion Map →

Compare with other funds
Add up to five funds to the chart above. Lines are rebased to 100 at the start of the period. Total return counts the distributions; price return is the share price alone, which is what tells you whether the fund is keeping its capital.
The fund against its underlying
Three lines, all starting at 100 in BABA's terms: what the fund's price did, what it did with its distributions reinvested, and what the underlying asset itself did. The distance between the total-return line and the underlying is the gap you see in the screeners: -5.5 percentage points. A covered-call fund gives up part of the rise by design, so a gap is expected; its size is what matters.
Month by Month
Amount per share by ex-date month, 15 months shown. This fund distributes monthly, every month.
The last distributions, date by date
The ex-date is the one that decides who gets paid: whoever holds the fund when that day opens receives the distribution, and the price opens lower by roughly the same amount. Buying the day before and selling the day after gains nothing — it only moves value from the price to a taxed payment.
